Dr. Deborah Rozman

I am a behavioral psychologist with 30 years of experience as a serial entrepreneur, business executive, educator, and author. I serve as President and co-CEO of HeartMath® Inc. where I oversee strategic the growth and expansion of HeartMath worldwide. HeartMath's mission is to help activate the heart of humanity through personal, social and global coherence. We develop Heart Rate Variability (HRV)) coherence technologies (emWave and Inner Balance) and provide Resilience building training programs that transform people’s lives, reducing overwhelm and anxiety and improving health and performance. I also serve on the 501 (c) 3 non profit HeartMath Institute scientific advisory board and Global Coherence Initiative steering committee.
We have developed assessments and scientifically validated HeartMath certification programs for coaches, mentors, workshop leaders and health professionals. HeartMath programs and technologies help people learn self-regulation skills to make the changes they want to see in themselves, at home, at work or with clients and patients. They provide research-based, reliable methods that help people align heart, mind and emotions for transformative outcomes— and to enjoy more flow, less stress and more fulfillment in life. For more than two decades, I have co-authored with HeartMath founder Doc Childre the Transforming series of HeartMath books: Transforming Stress, Transforming Anger, Transforming Anxiety and Transforming Depression and more recently Heart Intelligence: Connecting with the Intuitive Guidance of the Heart.
I am honored to be part of an amazing team here at HeartMath. My work is deeply fulfilling, yet I make sure to get away from the office and carve out time to enjoy weekend biking and hikes with my husband and friends. We often explore the redwood forest near my home and relish the beauty and quiet it offers. I also enjoy tending our garden comprised of 40 beautiful vintage roses and exploring fun new apps that can add a level of convenience to life!
